Executive Board Meeting
SIR Branch 19
July 2,2015

The meeting  was called to order at 10:00 a.m.  A quorum was present

ATTENDANCE: Sir’s in attendance were: B. Persons, D. Deonigi, K. Kuhn, K. Peterson, R. Cashion, J. Fernando, J. Barnaba, J. Duncan, J. Wolfe, D. Diamond, D. Williams, J. Carl Sr., J. Burton, and M. Mills.

MEMBERSHIP REPORT: Sir Peterson reported there is a new Form 27 that is required.  We have 127 total members.  1 resignation, no new members this month.   11 new members as of 2015.  One of 24 branches that have had an increase in membership.  2013 the only year without new members 
ATTENDANCE REPORT: Sir Cashion reported there are 124 active members.  This month 32 excused, 2 w/ no excuse. 25 of those excused used the hotline. No unexpected guests
Meal count. 60 meat, 23 fish, 2 veggie. 85 total meals

Honorary Life Membership position was voted on and Bill Stephenson was the designee. 
Picnic proposed date of September 17 was approved.  Sir Barnaba said members that help last year agreed to help again.  Jack Duncan to do the raffle
LITTLE SIR REPORT: Eric Thomas of KGO is the guest speaker.    Insurance  for members was discussed.  A Member Relations Committee was proposed.  Their duties would be to reach out to disgruntled members, recruit mew members for committees.  ,looking for area governor reps, and possibly an adopt a branch program, to assist other branches in need.    There was a Training session on June 18, attended by Jerry Burton, Bruce Persons, and Ed Benson.

Golf-  Match Play is still in progress.
Bowling- prepping for August  
Bocce- no new info.  Wine of the month Club-
Weiman discussed a new wine tasting venue in Walnut Creek.
Barnaba reported there was a request for a Fitness Group.
Dining out Group-  Bambinos.  La Veranda is on the list.     Visit to the USS scheduled for sometime in August.  Counts as a 6hour day
